The art of gastronomy at Le Donjon Restaurant

Situated over the beautiful Etretat bay our restaurant is an amazing immersion of senses and tastes.

Our chef Gabin Bouguet celebrates the Pays de Caux from coast to inland through a vibrant and daring art of cooking. Enjoy our unique art of cuisine, a must taste in Normandy.

Lunch or dinner with friends or family, in a peaceful ambiance with an incredible view of the sea and the Etretat cliffs. Absolutely perfect !

Start with our savouries and cocktails in the patio or by the pool and end this immersion in the art of cuisine with exquisite home made deserts imagined by our Pastry Chef Aurélien Helfrich.

Our Chef Gabin Bouguet takes his culinary inspirations according to the seasons’ flavours to imagine unique recipes for us to remember. The best fish and  shellfish selection from the Fécamp fish market : monkfish, turbot, crabs, lobster, urchins, scallops, mussels …to create a real symphony of flavours and colours. Our signature @ Le Donjon restaurant is « home made and local ». Home baked bread , home made butter, sauce bases and our fruit and vegetables,  herbs and edible flowers are locally grown and often come from Le Donjon’s vegetable garden. Vegetarian or gluten free menus are available on demand.

Dinner :  wednesday to sunday from 7:30 pm to  9:30pm
Lunch : Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays from 12 am to 2pm.

At Le Donjon, we implement all the Covid 19 health and sanitary guidelines to protect YOU and keep us SAFE !

The Donjon  Restaurant was awarded the label Maître Restaurateur in October 2011.

Since 2015, the Restaurant is a member of the Collège Culinaire de France.

In 2021, The Michelin Guide awarded our restaurant our first Ssar!

Gourmet Menu - 65 €

The Gourmet Menu is composed of 7 courses: appetiser, 3 dishes, plate of cheese, dessert and mini-pastries.

Choose one of the 3 following formulas, from the Carte above :

  • 1 starter, 2 main courses, cheese, dessert of your choice 
  • 2 starters, 1 main course, cheese, dessert of your choice
  • The 3 starters, cheese, dessert of your choice 

You may also choose a different combination of dishes: in that case, the Chef will adapt the quantity and the price accordingly.

In case of the expressed products would not suit you or would be missing, we would suggest a solution according to our available products.

Tasting Menu - 85 €

This collection of 9 dishes served in small portions walks you through all of our Chef's specialties. It highlights our culinary style through a unique experience: this is a Blind Tasting Menu, let our Maître d'Hôtel surprise you through each one of this 9-course meal!

Our Chef adapt his menu according to your tastes and food allergies or intolerances.

Arsene Menu - 35 €

Menu drawn up according to market produce and the chef’s inspiration; it is served at dinnertime and lunchtime (on Saturday and Sunday). It changes everyday, and is always composed of a starter, main dish and dessert.

Children’s Menu - From 15 to 25 € (on request)

Treat your children to a delicious dining experience! 
There is no set menu for them as we prefer to adapt according to what they fancy; of course it will be local and homemade, and especially prepared for them!

The Wine Menu

Oenophiles are in for a treat! We are proud of our selection, working with small producers and renowned wineries. By the glass or by the bottle, our sommelier helps you choose, pairing wines to the chosen menu.

To get the day off to a good start, we serve a varied continental breakfast. All our products are homemade, from pastries to smoked salmon.
